Support Retainers
Ongoing design and development when you need it.
Flexible monthly retainers for continued product iteration, feature development, and design support — with dedicated hours, regular check-ins, and full transparency.
How Retainers Work
Retainers are simple. You commit to a monthly block of hours. We dedicate that capacity to your product. You get consistent, senior-level design and development support without the overhead of hiring, managing, or onboarding anyone.
Every retainer includes end-of-month reporting so you see exactly what we worked on and how the hours were used. You also get access to our Linear workspace for real-time visibility into tasks, progress, and priorities.
Packages
Starter — Up to 20 hours/month
$3,000/mo
Best for: Light design support, minor feature additions, bug fixes, and ongoing consultation. Ideal for products in a stable phase that need periodic attention.
Includes: End-of-month report, access to Linear workspace.
Growth — Up to 40 hours/month
$5,600/mo
Best for: Consistent iteration and feature development. Enough capacity for meaningful product evolution — new features, redesigns of existing flows, integration work, and ongoing UX improvements.
Includes: Bi-weekly check-in meetings, end-of-month report, access to Linear workspace.
Scale — Up to 80 hours/month
$10,000/mo
Best for: Full-team engagement on active product development. This is close to a half-time dedicated product team. Enough for substantial feature builds, complex design work, and continuous deployment.
Includes: Weekly check-in meetings, end-of-month report, access to Linear workspace.

Overflow Hours
If you need more hours in a given month, overflow is billed at $150/hr. We'll always flag it before going over — no surprises.
For larger retainers, we ask that hours be distributed fairly evenly across the month. A retainer isn't a way to bank 80 hours and use them all in the last week — that breaks the capacity model for everyone.
Payment Terms
All invoices are sent on the first of the month for that month's retainer. Payment is due net-15.
Who Retainers Are For
Post-launch products that need continued iteration based on user feedback and business priorities.
Companies without an internal design team who need consistent, high-quality design support without hiring a full-time designer.
Long-term clients who've completed a project-based engagement and want to maintain the relationship for ongoing work.
Products in growth mode that need a reliable development partner for new features, integrations, and scaling work.
Retainer vs. Project
Not sure which model fits? Here's the simple test:
If you have a defined scope with a clear end point — "build this product" or "redesign this feature" — a project engagement is the right fit.
If you have ongoing, evolving needs without a clear finish line — "keep improving this product" or "support our team month-to-month" — a retainer is the right fit.
Many clients start with a project engagement and transition to a retainer after launch. That's the most common path.
