Fitness & Consumer Products
Digital experiences that match the quality of the physical product.
We design and build the software layer for consumer brands — connected fitness platforms, membership experiences, e-commerce integrations, and the digital touchpoints that turn buyers into loyal users.
Our Consumer Experience
CLMBR — Connected Fitness
CLMBR makes vertical climbing machines — a premium fitness product that needed an equally premium digital experience. We designed the connected software platform: workout tracking, performance dashboards, community features, and the device-to-app experience that keeps users coming back.
Connected hardware products have unique design constraints. The software has to work seamlessly with the physical device. The onboarding has to get users to their first workout, not their first settings screen. And the experience has to justify the subscription in a market where users cancel the moment they stop getting value.
Fan Controlled Sports — Interactive Entertainment
We designed the product for Fan Controlled Sports, a platform that lets fans call the plays in real-time sports events. Interactive entertainment with live data, real-time participation, and the kind of engagement mechanics that keep users glued to the experience.
Flaire — Luxury Membership
Flaire offers global family memberships to luxury properties and clubs — Four Seasons, Ritz Carlton, and similar brands. We designed and developed the membership platform: property discovery, booking workflows, membership management, and the premium digital experience that a luxury audience expects.
Robojuice — Consumer Brand
We've designed brand and visual assets for Robojuice, including gradient-driven visual systems that feel fresh and distinctive in a crowded consumer market.
What We Know About Consumer Products
First Impressions Are Everything
Consumer users decide within seconds whether they trust a product. Unlike enterprise software where users are assigned a tool and trained on it, consumer users choose to be there — and they can choose to leave just as easily. The design has to earn attention and trust immediately.
Subscription Retention Is a Design Problem
Most consumer products rely on subscription revenue. The moment a user stops getting value, they cancel. Designing for retention means creating experiences that evolve — new content surfaces, progress is visible, achievements are celebrated, and the product gets more useful over time, not less.
Brand and Product Are Inseparable
In consumer markets, the product is the brand experience. The quality of the interface, the attention to visual detail, the micro-interactions and transitions — these all communicate brand values as directly as the logo or the marketing copy. We design consumer products with the same attention to brand expression that we'd give a standalone brand project.
Mobile Matters (Even for Web)
Consumer users are on their phones. Even if the primary product is web-based, the mobile experience has to be excellent. Responsive design isn't a nice-to-have — it's where the majority of your users will interact with your product.
